At Unapologetically Well, I work with people navigating the full spectrum of eating concerns—from long-standing eating disorders to quieter but equally painful patterns of disordered eating and body image distress. You don’t need to befriend your diagnosis or even have a “rock bottom” moment to be here. If food, eating, or body thoughts are taking up more space than you want them to, that’s reason enough.

My Approach to Eating Disorder Treatment

Eating disorders don’t exist in a vacuum. They're often tangled up with identity, trauma, neurodivergence, attachment wounds, and systems that reward self-denial. I bring a relational, integrative lens to treatment that honors both your individual story and the broader context you’re living in.

My approach blends several modalities, tailored to each client:

  • Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) to help families, partners, and caregivers reconnect and repair.

  • EMDR Therapy, with advanced training in using it specifically for eating disorder recovery and body image healing.

  • Psychedelic-assisted therapy, including ketamine, where appropriate, alongside integration support rooted in consent, clarity, and safety.

  • Neurodiversity-affirming care, particularly for clients whose eating disorders intersect with ADHD, autism, or sensory processing differences.

  • Systems-focused collaboration with your treatment team—dietitians, physicians, psychiatrists, higher levels of care—because coordinated care isn’t a luxury; it’s essential.

I can also help coordinate those next steps when needed, ensuring no one is left navigating recovery alone.
