Speaking & Training for Groups
I offer dynamic, lived-experience-informed talks for audiences ranging from parents to educators to therapists to team leaders. My speaking topics focus on neurodiversity, shame resilience, burnout prevention, relational intelligence, and identity development. Presentations are engaging, research-informed, and always tailored to your group’s context and needs.

Curriculum & Psychoeducation
It is impossible to connect with each other and learners in today’s world without address social-emotional learning, executive functioning, identity, and resilience, especially for neurodivergent or high-sensitivity learners. I provide trainings, workshops, and customized emotionally intelligent curriculum for schools and homeschool groups, both adult- and child-centered. Think trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, and practical enough to use tomorrow.

Contract Psychotherapy & Group Support
Selectively, I provide contract-based therapy services and facilitation for short- or long-term support needs. From post-crisis processing to temporary counseling coverage to small group facilitation/restorative justice support, I offer responsive care designed to help communities, teams, and schools hold hard things well.

Relational Leadership & System Design
Strong teams start with intentional leadership. I help founders and small business leaders develop emotionally intelligent, neurodivergent-affirming communication styles—and design internal systems that support them. From feedback loops to decision-making frameworks, we’ll build structures that reflect your values and make room for clarity, care, and sustainable growth.
I know what it’s like to think in spirals, feel too much, need a minute, and want to fix the whole system at once.
I’m Kelley Walters, licensed professional counselor, practice owner, and the human behind Unapologetically Well. I’m also a neurodivergent person with a lifelong fascination—okay, let’s call it a special interest—in the way people operate: internally, interpersonally, and in the systems that shape us.
That lens has shaped everything I do. From publishing and leadership to teaching, therapy, and running businesses, I’ve had the unique opportunity to apply my skills across very different environments. What’s connected them all? A deep understanding of people, a fierce commitment to equity, and a belief that we all do better when our environments are built with diversity, emotion, and humanity in mind.
Now, I bring that same insight to the work I do with teams, schools, clinicians, organizations, and communities seeking real, practical, relational support.
Let’s build something that works.
