EMDR Intensive Program
EMDR intensives in Texas
Online & In-person
This isn’t traditional therapy—and that’s the point.
EMDR intensives give you the time and space to go deep, fast. No dragging things out week by week. Just focused, immersive work that gets to the root of what’s been holding you back. Each intensive is tailored to you, with a personalized workbook to help you name what’s really going on and start shifting it. Your healing isn’t just important—it’s the whole point. Let’s move toward the relief you’ve been craving.
While my intensives are usually centered around relational EMDR processing work, each intensive is customized to fit your individual goals and needs, and the work generally is organized in an integrative format pulling from expressive arts, somatic/sensorimotor processing, parts work, and EMDR.
Some of the approaches to healing I’ve implemented in collaboration with clients during intensive sessions pull from creative writing, eco/outdoor therapy, dance/movement (including parkour), and even cooking and gardening.
Sound familiar?
You’re drained and need something to change.
Healing isn’t a side project—it’s your priority.
Weekly therapy feels too slow (or impossible to fit in).
Something recent hit hard—your system is in overdrive and you can’t keep pushing through.
You’re done letting your past run the show. You’re ready to feel like you again.
If any of that resonates, an EMDR intensive might be the right fit. Let’s get to the heart of it—quickly, deeply, and with care.
Why consider an EMDR intensive?
-
If you've spent thousands of dollars on therapy that only scratched the surface, or you're tired of making slow progress because life keeps interrupting your process, an intensive may be the most direct, powerful investment you can make in your emotional well-being.
It’s not cheap. That’s true.
It’s a high-touch, high-care model designed for people who are ready to go there. -
Time Efficiency: Instead of 3–6 months (or more!) of weekly sessions, we condense focused trauma work into a single day or short series. Ideal for busy professionals, creatives, and caregivers who don’t have the luxury of long timelines.
Deeper Work: Weekly therapy often spends the first 15 minutes settling in, and the last 10 winding down. In an intensive, we stay in the work, fully immersed, with your nervous system supported throughout.
Lasting Impact: Clients often experience breakthroughs in a matter of hours that would’ve taken months in traditional therapy. That doesn’t mean it’s magic—but it is effective.
Adjunctive Option: Already in therapy elsewhere? Intensives can be used to target one specific issue while staying connected to your primary therapist. Many clinicians refer to me for this kind of short-term, results-oriented work.
Clear Boundaries, Safe Container: You’ll get prep materials, integration support, and an intentional treatment plan—not just a long therapy session slapped with the word “intensive.”

People who’ve done a lot of therapy already but still feel stuck
Adults navigating trauma, performance anxiety, relational wounds, or burnout
Teens or young adults needing focused support before or after a major transition (e.g., starting school, coming out, moving away)
Anyone with a complex story and not enough time for slow-burn healing
You don’t have to carry it all forever.
An EMDR Intensive isn’t business as usual. It’s a customized, immersive healing experience designed for people who are ready to get to the root of things. Using EMDR informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, and polyvagal theory, we move through what's been stuck—not just talk about it.
The old stories, the stuck patterns, the pressure to hold it together while barely holding on—it’s exhausting. EMDR intensives are a focused, intentional way to move through what’s been weighing you down. Together, we’ll create a personalized, accelerated path to healing that meets you where you are and helps you get where you actually want to go.
Fewer sessions. Deeper work. Real transformation. No apology necessary.
how dO I know if an intensive is right for me?
What to Expect
Instead of stretching things out over years of weekly talk therapy, intensives are designed to help you move through meaningful work in a short span—typically 4–12 hour sessions over 2–3 consecutive days. Every intensive includes:
A customized workbook to prep and guide your process
Virtual prep sessions before we begin
Post-intensive follow-up and future planning
Coordination with your primary therapist, if you have one
Please note: Intensives are powerful work—and they’re called “intensive” for a reason. This process can be deeply emotional, but it also opens the door to real change. That’s why I recommend that you have an established primary therapist to support your integration afterward. And not everyone’s system is ready to jump into EMDR right away—part of our consultation will help us determine if it’s the right next step for you.
Start With a Conversation
Before anything else, you’ll meet with me for a free 30-minute clarity call. You’ll talk through what’s bringing you here, ask questions, and explore whether an intensive feels like a good fit. If it does, I will schedule your pre-intensive interview and then create a personalized package and share available dates with you. If it’s not the right time, she’ll offer thoughtful referrals and resources so you still leave supported. I books intensives months in advance, so early planning is key.
This isn’t therapy lite—and it’s not necessarily the end of therapy forever. It’s concentrated, transformative work designed to help you finally move forward.
