Therapy that fits

I’m a clinical psychotherapist licensed in both Texas and Ohio and the founder of Unapologetically Well. I offer collaborative, neuroinclusive therapy for adults and adolescents navigating complex trauma, neurodivergence, relationship patterns, identity exploration, and the exhaustion of moving through systems that never quite fit.

My approach is direct, warm, and curious. I bring clinical training and lived experience to my work with queer and neurodivergent people, including the ways identity, belonging, masking, and relationships intersect.

My perspective informs my clinical work without becoming a template for anyone else’s experience. I make room for uneven capacity, sensory needs, complicated relationships with expectations, and the grief and relief that can accompany understanding yourself differently. Together, we explore what your responses have helped you survive and what you want to make possible now.

I integrate EMDR, parts work, somatic approaches, expressive practices, and practical tools through weekly counseling and therapy intensives. My work supports clients in reclaiming their voices, understanding patterns, and building lives that reflect their values, needs, and desires.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education, school leadership, college teaching, and publishing. My background shapes my attention to language, meaning, and the stories people inherit about who they are allowed to be.

I also support clinicians through graduate student supervision, consultation, and education, and I am a cofounder of Divergent & Disorderly, a community for neurodivergent therapists and healers.

Outside the therapy room, I’m happiest hiking to a waterfall, indoor rock climbing, and playing hip hop and punk rock too loud. More than anything, I’m always looking for (and making) every opportunity to be thoroughly silly.
